POSITION TITLE:           Commercial Inside Sales Engineer

PURPOSE:                      To serve as the principal day-to-day business contact between Outside Sales Engineers, the Company, and its Customers. Provide a wide variety of services in support of the Company’s sales, profitability, and Customer Service objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Candidate should be a self-motivated individual with a general engineering background, HVAC
systems knowledge and the ability to read and interpret construction documents (plans and
specifications).


Demonstrate computer proficiency in order to perform all job-related functions, including but not
limited to; equipment selection and pricing, preparing equipment submittals, place equipment
orders (in conjunction with order entry personnel), verify equipment lead times and shipping
status, etc.

Duties include reviewing bid documents, selecting and pricing equipment, preparing quotations
and ordering equipment. Review Plan Rooms such as ISQFT, Greater Peoria Contractors &
Suppliers Association, etc.

Prepare, review and update Bid List, VRF Opportunity Matrix and other reporting tools for Sales
Team.

Inside Sales Engineer will work with all sales staff including; Sales Engineers, Territory
Managers and Counter Sales Staff and report directly to the Commercial Sales Manager.
Process, interpret and coordinate with counter sales staff at all Habegger stores to meet and
exceed the customer’s requirements and expectations while complying with Company policies,
procedures, and directives.

Periodically attend training sessions offered by Habegger Corporation (internal training and offsite) and its various suppliers. Monitor and keep up-to-date with; revisions to equipment
offerings, supplier pricing policies and supplier lead times.

Present a professional image of Company and self through phone and counter courtesies,
written and verbal communications, personal dress and hygiene.

Maintain close contact and rapport with customers through contact and active involvement in
industry organizations. Make joint sales calls with Sales Engineers as required to increase
knowledge of customer needs and equipment offering.


Coordinate virtually all Company functions to achieve desired level of service.

Develop and maintain working knowledge of all Company processes, policies and procedures
with comprehensive knowledge in areas of specific responsibilities.

Maintain a “Customer Focus” spirit with all Customers and Company employees.
