The brazing process requires skilled technicians with proper techniques for successful operation of equipment. Training on this process can eliminate and prevent future failures that result in unnecessary expenses. Safe brazing techniques will also help avoid costly medical expenses and down time for injured operators. Class time will be focused on safety and the fundamentals of brazing. This will help us understand the importance of brazing techniques. The class will consist of a combination of both classroom time and hands-on training. During the class, attendees will have the opportunity to braze both copper and aluminum, using oxygen/acetylene, air/acetylene and MAP gas torches. We will then strength test the completed braze joints as a class final exam.
