This class will focus on:

Duct Calculators
•    Understanding how to use a duct calculator to size a new system and confirm the duct sizing for a replacement

Static Pressure / Friction
•    What is it? How does it relate to the size and air flow of the air distribution system?

Equivalent Footage
•    Why using the wrong fittings will slow the air. How to determine which fittings will create the smoothest airflow.
•    Understanding and using an Air Duct Calculator.
•    Benefits for a Technician understanding the Air Duct Calculator.
•    Flexible Ductwork, Good? Bad? How does compression come into play?
•    ECM motors and the importance of proper return air
