The Gas Furnace Ion 80% AFUE 70000 BTU Two-Stage Multi-position (G80CTL0701716A) delivers a nominal 70,000 BTU input at 80% AFUE efficiency, engineered for commercial-grade residential installations with a two-stage gas valve and variable-speed constant-airflow ECM blower motor to provide quieter, more efficient operation and improved comfort control. It is built in a 17.5 inch-wide cabinet designed for upflow, downflow or left/right horizontal installation, with the compact footprint needed for tight mechanical spaces and service access. The unit runs on 115 V single-phase power, draws approximately 9“10 amps on a 15-amp circuit, and uses a ½ NPT gas connection sized for natural gas with conversion potential for LP.
