Habegger Corporation Shipping & Refund Policy
At The Habegger Corporation, we are committed to supporting HVAC contractors and businesses with high-quality HVAC parts, heating and cooling equipment, and contractor supplies. To provide the best service, we have established the following returns and shipping policy.
General Requirements for Returns
- Manager Approval Required: All returns must be pre-approved by the store manager.
- Condition of Items: Returned HVAC products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
- Non-Returnable Items: Installed, used, damaged, obsolete, discontinued, or special-handling items are not returnable. This includes items such as cut copper, wiring, and opened electrical parts.
- Freight & Handling: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Standard Stock Item Returns
- Within 30 Days: Returns are accepted at no charge.
- 31–90 Days: Returns may be accepted with a 20% restocking fee.
- Over 90 Days: Returns are not accepted unless approved in writing by management.
Special Order HVAC Products
- Restocking Fee: Special order items are subject to a 35% restocking fee, provided the manufacturer accepts the return.
- Non-Returnable: If the manufacturer does not allow returns, the product is non-returnable.
- Freight Deduction: Additional freight charges to return special-order HVAC equipment to the manufacturer will be deducted from the refund or credit.
Payment Requirements:
- COD Customers: Payment is required upfront for all special orders. If returned and accepted, credit (minus restocking and freight) will be issued to the account or the original credit card on file.
- Terms Customers: Credits are applied to the customer's account once the manufacturer return is processed.
Refunds & Credits
- Credit to Account: Unless otherwise requested, refunds are applied as a credit toward future HVAC purchases.
- Refund Checks: Customers may request a refund check in the account holder's name (processing time: 10–14 business days).
- Credit Card Refunds: Refunds will only be applied to the same card used for the original HVAC purchase (card number must match).
- No Cash Refunds: Cash refunds and third-party payments are not permitted.
Shipping Policy
- COD Customers: Payment is required upfront, including shipping costs.
- Expedited Orders: Expedited shipping is calculated at our cost of the HVAC part plus 5%.
- Non-Expedited Orders: Standard freight charges apply.
- Order Cancellations: Once a factory order is placed, it cannot be canceled. Customers are responsible for any 25% restocking fee plus freight charges assessed by the manufacturer. Overpayments are credited to the customer's account or refunded to the original card on file.
