The Dual Range Non-Contact Voltage Tester 12 to 1000 V AC (KLE-NCVT2P) is a compact, rugged tester built for non-contact detection of AC voltage across low-voltage systems such as security and irrigation circuits as well as standard mains power, featuring dual detection ranges allowing voltage sensing from 12 V to 1000 V AC (split into low and standard ranges) with simultaneous visual (LED) and audible indicators to signal presence or absence of voltage. The pocket-clip tester is constructed of durable polycarbonate and is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, CAT IV 1000 V, and has 6.6 ft (2 m) drop protection, ensuring jobsite durability. Powered by 2 × AAA batteries that provide an extended ~142 hr battery life, it measures approximately 5.82 inches long, 1.09 inches wide, 0.86 inches high and weighs about 1.7 oz, offering lightweight, no-contact voltage detection for outlets, switches, fixtures, cords, and conductors without the need to touch live parts.
